The first round matches in the Under 17 and 15 Division One categories which came into an end saw 48 teams each in both the groups qualify to the second round which is due to get underway this week .
An official of the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association (SLSCA) said that the second round matches of the two groups have been scheduled to start from July 17 and they have been informed to complete their quota of matches by August 10 the latest.
Thereafter the knockout stage will be conducted and the matches in the pre-quarter final, quarter final, semi final and final will be played on turf wickets and on grounds booked by the SLSCA.
